Rosters announced for Bi-City All-Star Classic

The rosters for the second Bi-City All-Star Classic have been released.

Some of the top 20 senior boys and girls from Macon, Chattahoochee, Muscogee, Harris, Troup, Chambers, Lee and Russell counties have been picked.

The game will be played March 22 at Columbus State. There will be a girls game, a boys game, a 3-point shootout and a dunk contest.

Hardaway coach Kendall Mills will coach the East girls, while Jordan's Gerald Turner will coach the East boys.

Four Kendrick girls have been selected to play, while three Jordan boys have been picked.

Here are the rosters:

East girls

Hardaway's Kelly Ellison
LaGrange Academy's Porsha Morgan
Carver's Adobi Agbasi
Spencer's Shikerrie Turpin
Columbus High's Crystal Forman
Columbus' Tionna Crawford

Union Springs' Cedric Peebles
Lanett's Meko Jones
Lanett's Jakana Brooks
Auburn's Calvin Smith
Auburn's Lucas Czerkawski
Beauregard's John Ware

With all of these games, there is always someone that gets left out. I haven't really put a lot of thought into who should be there and who shouldn't be, but I am sure some talented players are left out.

The thing that jumps out at me is that there is no one from the Glenwood girls on the team. The Lady Gators went undefeated and won a state title last year and have lost only three times this year.

Guard Kianna Pinkney and forward Alisha Nelson are talented enough to make the team.

Let me know who you think got left out?
