There have been a bunch of movement in the coaching ranks in Georgia the last couple of days. No, there's no word out of Northside. But it's my understanding that it won't be long until the Patriots have their new coach.
So on to teams that have found a coach. Jones County has its new coach and it's Dwight Jones. Jones, who left Northside after the 2005 season for McIntosh, has found another job.
Jones has accepted the Jones County head football job, school superintendent Jim LeBrun confirmed Tuesday afternoon, according to the Macon Telegraph. He went just 2-18 at McIntosh.
Former Hoover coach Rush Probst has accepted the job at Colquitt County, according to the AJC.
We'll just leave it as that.
