Third round almost set

Brookstone, Pacelli and Columbus High will all host a quarterfinal series on Tuesday afternoon.

The Blue Devils, who swept Spalding and Crisp County in the first two rounds, will host Cartersville in the AAA playoffs.

After traveling in the second round, Brookstone will host Gordon Lee in the A playoffs. The series will start at 2 p.m. If a third game is needed, it will be played Thursday at 2 p.m. Gordon Lee knocked off Aquinas 8-6 in the deciding game on Thursday afternoon.

Pacelli will play at home for the third straight series and host Jefferson. The game time has not yet been set. Jefferson beat Eagle’s Landing Christian 13-3 in the deciding game on Friday afternoon.

The Raiders, who swept Burke County in the second round, still doesn’t know who they’ll play. Shaw will travel to the winner of Dunwoody and Carrollton on Tuesday. Dunwoody and Carrollton split the first two games and are scheduled to play the deciding game today at 1:30.
