All-Bi-City selections

It's that time of year again. It's the most fun time of the year. Picking the All-Bi-City teams is always a challenge and a fun time.

It's a long process and a lot of time is spent trying to select the players that are most deserving of being honored.

It's not easy and someone is always going to feel left out. Like the NCAA tournament no matter how many players (or teams in the case of the NCAA tournament), someone is the going to be the first one out.

But the most interesting thing to me is trying to decide who should be player of the year. While the players of the year have been selected I am interested to see what everyone else thinks.

There are a lot of choices, but were are some of the options.

On the boys side:

Terrance Hill, Jordan

Steve Peterson, Jordan

Jarvis Jones, Carver

Alex Phillips, Smiths Station

On the girls side:

Janae McKinney, Kendrick

Mukia Myrick, Kendrick

Kelly Ellison, Hardaway

Kianna Pinkney, Glenwood

Let me know what you think.

WHAT ABOUT SPEEDY TERRY AT PACELLI? NO ONE HAS HAD A MORE COMPLETE SEASON THAN HIM. I THINK YOU SHOULD CHECK HIS STATS. BY THE WAY, HIS JERSEY WAS RETIRED AT PACELLI LAST WEEKEND.

NESFAYIA WATKINS OF CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL.SHE HAS OUTSTANDING STATS SHE WAS SELECTED REGIONAL FIRST TEAM,OPELIKA-AUBURN AREA FIRST TEAM.ALSO SHE LEAD A VERY YOUNG TEAM TO SECOND PLACE IN THE AREA AND SUB REGIONAL CHAMPS.THERE WAS NOT A LOT OF EXPERIENCED PLAYERS TO HELP HER ALONG THE WAY.EXCEPTION TO THE OTHER TEAMS. SO IF THIS IS BASED ON INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE SHE SHOULD BE SELECTED FIRST TEAM.
